Originating from West Africa Bolbitis Heudelotii is a fern with beautiful, transparent green leaves, reaching 15-40cm in height. When planting, make sure not to cover the rhizome because it will cause it to rot. For best results plant Bolbitis Heudelotii on a root or stone, keeping the plant in position with thread or fishing line until the roots have gained a hold. Supply of CO2 will considerably enhance the growth, which is only optimal in soft, slightly acidic water. Bolbitis Heudelotii is easy to propagate by splitting the horizontal rhizome.
